1:1 online tutoring
If you’re looking for something completely tailored to your student’s specific learning outcomes and schedule, 1:1 tutoring may be best. Learn what you can expect in a session by watching the intro video below or contact me to book a free consultation.
online tutoring pods
Tutoring pods are small groups (max of 3 students) that learn together over the course of 8 weeks. Students are grouped together by previous PSAT, SAT, or diagnostic SAT scores, with particular importance placed on math scores.
Sessions run for 75 minutes over an 8-week period.
online courses
Group courses are a cost-effective way to approach prep. I typically recommend group courses for students who need just a little structure and accountability but who are otherwise self-motivated. I also recommend group courses for students with more general tutoring goals (e.g. building familiarity with the test and content rather than attaining a specific score).
In general, I recommend group course students have score of 1000+ on a recent SAT or PSAT. Group course sizes vary, depending on the type of course offered. Please see the Courses page for upcoming offerings.
online events
Sign up to attend my live webinars and workshops, some of which are offered in parternship with The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Tutoring (TPAPT), and explore different strategies and content of the Digital SAT. All upcoming events are listed on the courses page.
Please see my blog for recordings of past events.
school courses
I offer onsite school courses in the Ellsworth and Mount Desert Island area, as well as online school courses. Since 2018, I have designed and taught SAT prep courses for the Portland School District, Maine Coast Waldorf School, and Mount Desert Island High School. Each SAT prep course is designed specific to the needs of the students and the budget of the school or families. Please inquire directly about hosting a course at your school.
“Annick provided an SAT Prep course for our current juniors, in preparation for the April SAT. The set-up of the course was seamless, as Annick was organized and communicative. When the course began, Annick was flexible and considered the needs of all students. She showed empathy and compassion when dealing with each unique situation. She asked for feedback and gave students the opportunity to share their own insights, perspectives, and opinions. Annick was incredible to work with and is now considered a part of our guidance family. We can't wait for her next course offering to begin!”
